Our Co-Founder and CEO, Tom Clayton, was one of the business leaders who attended Insider Media’s ‘Demystifying AI’ roundtable this month.
It was an insightful discussion, and some of Tom’s key takeaways were:
1️⃣ Making AI culturally embedded is going to take time. Acceptance and understanding of AI is critical to achieving successful change management within businesses.
2️⃣ Rather than eliminating jobs, AI, in combination with human skill, is creating higher-paid and more skilled roles, which drive greater insights and profitability.
3️⃣ AI will not replace jobs, but it will transform the workforce.
4️⃣ It’s important that we don’t replace junior roles with AI. It’s key to be mindful when incorporating AI to make sure it doesn’t create a skills gap in the future.
As part of the conversation, one of Tom’s key points was:
“Once you’ve gone through the IT protocol, human expertise is the key to driving AI. […] It’s certainly not about job loss; it’s quite the contrary.”
